History
Back in the late 90′s/early 2000s, I got in to doing websites, starting with the basics (Geocities) and moving on to creating my own HTML, CSS, and then using PHP and MySQL to make my websites more advanced. I got the name “Jsyte” as a portmanteau of my first initial “J” and “site,” but since Jsite was already taken, I swapped the “i” with a “y,” as was popular at the time. Over time I wrote a couple articles and they’ve become popular on Google searches, but I want a better platform to express myself.
The Vision
For my new site I wanted three main topics. One one side, I want to keep the articles on technology. I want to share my expertise and projects with the world, and have insightful articles that will get read. Another topic I want to have is on life. I see so much in life and learn a lot, but I can’t keep it all in my head. Finally, as a college student, I see and hear many interesting things, and I have a lot to say about the education system and its strengths and weaknesses. As many of my friends know, I’m proud to be a UCF Knight and I’m proud of my school, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else right now.
